Sylvain Abitbol
Chairman of the Board

M. Abitbol is a graduate form Ecole Polytechnique in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering in 1973. He worked 6 years for the Xerox Corporation where he was trained in Telecommunications in the El Segundo California training center in the late 70’s.

In 1984 He started up a company in the telecom industry that created the first line of cable management solutions. In 1990, Abitbol was responsible for another startup that went public.
His clients were the Ilec’s which included Verizon and France Telecom. He later became an early investor / technical advisor for a company that designed electronic trading platforms sold to major financial institutions. The company was sold in 2000 to Sunguard.

M. Abitbol is involved in various philanthropic activities. Today, he sits on the Advisory Board of umind.
